Ridge Valley Hutterite Colony is known for having some of the best chicken in Alberta. Their chicken is free from antibiotics, and without added hormones. The birds are fed a diet of grain grown on the colony, as well as being allowed to forage when outdoors. The chickens are raised free range, with access to the outdoors when weather permits.
